Hi, I’m Brad.
I’m a filmmaker by training and a creative by nature, which is a polite way of saying I’ve spent most of my life chasing ideas across different mediums and refusing to pick just one. Film. Video. Sound. Events. Live experiences. AI. Whatever makes a person feel something, whatever brings people together, whatever turns an idea into something you can actually put your hands on — that’s the thing I keep coming back to.
In the world, that curiosity has turned into a few different things. I run Halo Logic, where I help companies upskill their workforces in AI and actually get something useful out of the tools they’re already paying for. I run Bear Media Services, which handles the film, television, video, audio, web, and communications work that’s been part of my life for years. And I run Reimagination Events, where I get to do the thing I’ve always loved most: put on experiences that give people a reason to show up. Three companies, three lanes, one very busy calendar.
This site isn’t any of those. This site is me.
It’s the place where I get to be a whole person on the internet instead of the flattened version that fits neatly into a company website. I’ll write about things I’m making. Things I’m learning. AI, because it’s impossible for me to stop thinking about right now. Film, because it’s the medium I came up in and probably always will. Travel, because I’m at my best when I’m somewhere new or somewhere near the ocean. And occasionally the small stuff: a song I can’t shake, a book I’m arguing with, a thought I had at 2 a.m. that seemed too good to lose.
I’m told I’m approachable and a little quirky, and I take that as a compliment. I see things a bit sideways. I believe warmth and rigor belong in the same room, and that kindness and high standards are not in tension with each other. I believe the best ideas usually show up when you give them permission to be weird first.
At home, I’m lucky. My husband Seth, our kid Gabe, and our dog Rosco are the built-in audience for most of my half-formed ideas and the reason a lot of the good ones ever make it out of my head. They keep me honest, they keep me laughing, and they are — on any given day — the best thing I’ve got going. You’ll probably hear about them here, because they’re part of the story.
